We had never personally met Garth until he and his wife Virginia came to minister at our church on a Sunday morning in December of 2015. Garth was recommended and introduced to me by a mutual friend, Bill Henderson; one of the original members of the well known ‘Power Team’. Knowing that Garth was ministering in Hollywood, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We found Garth not only to be genuine and sincere, but he brought with him a clear anointing; not only to teach, but to minister supernatural healing as well.
It was immediately clear as Garth spoke, that he has a profound love for God’s Word. Many who preach and teach will read the obligatory three verses and then give many human ideas to fill out their message. Garth’s message was continuously interwoven with God’s word; not just read, but quoted. The effect was a building of faith to receive what God was speaking to our particular fellowship. At the close of the service several people were healed and several received specific supernatural words of knowledge and prophetic ministry. Because I knew intimate details of a several of those who received specific words, I knew that the words he gave were accurate, distinct, and not just general “I love you my child and I will use you” type of messages.
An example of the powerful ministry that took place that day is as follows: One of our 1st time visitor that morning came wearing a sling. Her shoulder was broken in three places from a fall she had suffered while in the hospital after a cancer surgery. After receiving prayer with the laying on of hands, she was completely healed. Not only did she receive healing in her shoulder, but she found that God had radically transformed her in her soul and emotions; delivering her from major depression. If that was not wonderful enough, she also found that a skin condition which had been so severe that it kept her from using her hands for most work, was totally gone.
This woman has been coming to our church faithfully for the last two months. Three of her friends were so impacted by what the Lord had done for her, that they felt compelled to come to one of our church meetings a few weeks later; specifically to tell the church how miraculous her life change has been.
I would highly recommend having Garth and Virginia come and minister at your church or other ministry function especially if you genuinely desiring to have God’s Presence, God’s Word and the Power of the Lord to heal those who are sick.
